Membership Requirements

What do I need to become a Lion? Just the following:

  • Have a sincere need to help people
  • Be a respected member (man or woman) of the community
  • Be sponsored by a current member
  • Be approved by the Board of Directors

Will being a Lion take away from my family too much? On the contrary, being a Lion enriches your family life. Maybe your spouse would like to join with you. By volunteering you’re setting a positive example for those around you by giving your time to better your community.

What does it cost to join Lions?  Dues are $50 each year.  While we don’t expect any changes in the near future, dues are subject to change. By covering our administrative costs through dues, we can apply 100% of donated money to our community and to humanitarian projects. We are very proud that not one cent of donated money is used to administer our club.

How much time is required? Lions contribute what they can. This can range from as little as three hours each month to much more.
